Denpasar (2)

Today we went to Denpasar. Made Latra took us to Tiara Dewata, a Balinese mall. Then we ate and Made bought us tickets to play on the merry-go-round and the ball room. When it was time to go, we quickly looked in a pet shop and saw algae eaters and golden retriever puppies. I think it took an hour to get there and an hour to come back. And that's my day in Denpasar.

Friday

We got up and went swimming earlier than we were supposed to. After I got my bathing suit on, I watched the man clean the pool. He used a special pool vacuum to vacuum the bottom. While we were swimming we met a lady from Canada. After we swam we ate breakfast. I had banana pancake with honey - one of the most delicious things in the world. Then we went to our rooms and repacked our bags to move to Londo Bungalows. And that's where we are right now.

The Plane Ride

On the plane from Richmond to Miami, we flew over the Atlantic Ocean. Out the window I could see the beach and we flew over the Everglades. From Miami to Los Angeles we ate the dinner we had packed. I ate a bologna sandwich and applesauce and chocolate pudding. From Los Angeles to Hong Kong was a very long flight because we flew over the Pacific Ocean. I did not see Japan, but my mom did. Finally, from Hong Kong to Bali was an OK trip. I watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and it was really funny.

Two weeks in Bali

Hi, I'm Nona Mac. I'm going to spend two weeks in Bali. It will be very fun, I know it. This will be my 4th visit to Bali. Last time I was there, it was really fun, but when I had to leave, it was really hard to leave because I had gotten used to how it was there. I will get to see Putu and Ilo and Agung and all my friends. This time I will try a favorite of the Balinese - roasted dragonflies. People in Bali say they are really good and crunchy. Yum yum!!
